CONVENTION INFO

‘Information Central’ – The ISSA Resource Center will be located near the main registration area in front of the exhibition hall’s main entrance. During exhibit hours, the following information will be available:

• Additional Show Directories

• Show Floor Maps

• Schedules

Badge Pick-Up – Immediately following registration for the show, attendees should have received an e-mail bar code confirmation. Bring that confirmation to the designated Registration Area located in the Las Vegas Convention Center to be scanned for badge printing.

Shuttle Service Locations – ISSA will provide complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center beginning Monday, September 8, through the close of the show on Thursday, September 11, from all host hotels except the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, which is within walking distance.

Cyber Centers – Free wireless Internet access is available at five locations in the convention center; Banners restaurant in the Grand Lobby, International Food Market Restaurant in the South Hall, South bridge spanning Desert Inn Road, Pre-function area outside Room N263 North Hall and Pre-function common area near the Las Vegas Hilton Walkway.

Convention Center Business Services – Exhibitors and attendees in need of photocopying, faxing and shipping can find assistance at FedEx Kinko’s. This business center is on site in Suite 100 or can be reached at 702-943-6780.

Convention Center Lost & Found – The Convention Center Lost and Found is located in the grand concourse, just outside Hall C3. A second Lost & Found is located in the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Show Office in room N239.

Convention First Aid – The Las Vegas Convention Center has a First Aid Station available for attendees in need. It is located in the grand concourse, just outside Hall C3.

Security Office – The Security Office can be found in the grand concourse outside Hall C3 or by calling 702-892-7413.

Coat Check – A Coat Check is available for all attendees and is located at the business center outside Hall C3 next to the Security Office.

Currency Exchange – Most major hotels and casino cashiers will accept foreign currency and exchange it for U.S. dollars. However, you cannot purchase foreign currency from the casino cashier.

Bags to Go: off-site Airline baggage program – Bags To Go is an off-site baggage program that allows any attendees traveling on Southwest, United, Ted, Delta and U.S. Airways flights to check their bags at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The baggage desk is located in the Grand Concourse across from Central Hall 3. The cost for the service is $20 per person, and you may check up to three bags on Southwest, two bags on United, Ted, Delta and U.S. Airways. Bags may be checked up to 12 hours before your departure time, but no later than three hours prior to your departure. The hours of operation are 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. on show days.

Weather – The weather in this desert city is mild most of the year. Las Vegas averages 320 days of sun, while the average rainfall is 4.19 inches per year. During the show, the weather should be between 80°F-105°F or 27°C-40°C.

Airport – For general information about McCarran International Airport call 702-261-5211. For lost and found, call 702-261-5134 and for flight information, call 702-261-4636. A variety of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-13. Please note that there are both group shuttles and “for-hire” stretch limousine services.

Car Rental – Hertz has been appointed the official car rental company for the show. Discounted rates start at $27 per day (lower rates for longer rental periods) plus state or local surcharges, tax, optional coverage and gas refueling charges. The discounted rate is available from September 1 through September 18 and subject to car availability. Call the Hertz Meeting Desk at 800-654-2240 and refer to CV#02YR0006.

Monorail Transportation – The Las Vegas Monorail connects visitors to everything the Las Vegas strip has to offer, including some of the world’s best restaurants, shows, clubs, hotels and casinos. Seven stations are located along the route: MGM Grand Hotel Casino; Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas; Flamingo Hotel & Casino; Harrah’s/Imperial Palace; Las Vegas Convention Center; Las Vegas Hilton; Sahara Hotel & Casino. The private system includes nine trains that travel at speeds up to 50 mph, with trains picking up passengers on stations every four to 12 minutes.

Friday-Sunday 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.
