The 2016 BSCAI Executive Management Conference took place May 19 to 21 and drew 231 attendees to Clearwater Beach, Florida, resulting in the highest attendance in three years. This intimate, two-day gathering away from the office was the perfect venue for teams to collaborate with other building service contractor professionals who share the same industry challenges and professional goals.
“I love this conference because it motivates me and my team and provides us practical, relative information to go back and share with our teams,” said Bryan Lazorik, CBSE, Bryco Services, Merrillville, Indiana. “As always, the networking opportunities are so valuable to me and my organization.”
Attendees received insights on how to take business to the next level and learned how to remove the distracting “noise” from their minds. The Executive Management Conference concluded with a session focused on creating a framework to execute for subsequent tiers. In addition to all of the educational offerings, attendees enjoyed interacting with suppliers and exciting networking events.
Additional highlights from the event included:
- Key speakers: Rory Vaden, Co-founder, Southwestern Consulting; Larry Linne, Chairman, Intellectual Innovations; Betsy Allen, CEO, exceler8
- The Sunbelt Reception, which took place on the beach, featuring a live band and the company’s equipment on display
- BSCAI’s golf tournament was sold out and the winners donated their prizes to BSCAI’s charity partner Cleaning for a Reason
