Cleaning Machine: Teachers Refuse to Use Restroom

Company Website

Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho, is the flagship facility in the local school district comprising 18 schools. The school’s mission is to “prepare, learn, and succeed;” however, according to some of its faculty, it was falling short of success in maintaining one of its restrooms.

According to a district spokesperson, “we had one restroom that the faculty refused to use because we just couldn’t get the odor out. Our staff would go out of their way to use another restroom.”

Working with their jansan distributor, Bret Gordon of Hanson Janitorial Supply, a member of Pro-Link, Inc., a jansan buying and marketing group, the schools’ custodians tried Pro-Link’s Transport Cleaning System (TCS) to clean the troubled restroom.

With the TCS system, the surfaces to be cleaned are sprayed with chemicals that neutralize acids, often the odor source, which are rinsed away.

“Success!” said the spokesperson. “After using the TCS the odor was all gone.”
