Individually dispensed toilet paper

A more recent twist on toilet tissue is the individually dispensed, folded tissues. These are quite different from the traditional rolled tissues and are similar to folded paper towels and dispensers in that the individual tissues are being dispensed at the bottom of a fixture. Tissue sheet size is typically double the sheet size on a roll.

This type of dispenser can be included in a program that promotes healthy restroom hygiene because it reduces cross-contamination by enabling an occupant to simply touch the tissue they’re going to use. The fully enclosed dispenser protects tissue from contamination. The benefits of this type of toilet paper dispenser also include waste reduction, as cores are eliminated.

These units may require more maintenance than a jumbo roll size, but still accommodate the equivalent of 5 standard rolls.
