Labor is the number one line item in any custodial budget and trimming that number will mean valuable dollars saved. One way to create efficiencies in regards to labor is through proper floor care equipment purchases.

In regards to floor care, consider equipment that completes jobs with fewer stops. This includes battery-powered, low-moisture or ride-on equipment that can cut cleaning times in half and free up employees for other tasks.

Also, work with your distributor to identify equipment that uses cleaning chemicals that reduce cleaning frequencies. In the end, these chemicals won’t just save time, they can be more cost-effective because they're more durable and last longer on floors.
