Cleaning professionals have demanded the versatility of cordless, battery-powered backpack vacuums for years. Now not only is that mobility available, but it doesn't come at the expense of motor strength and machine power.

With battery-powered backpacks, cords are no longer an issue. Now, cleaners can move freely around furniture or equipment, or in areas such as stairwells that traditionally don't have outlets. With battery power, workers can also clean around building occupants or in high-traffic walkways because cords are no longer a safety hazard to workers.

With mobility a non-issue, vacuum manufacturers are now looking to prolong the runtime and performance of battery-powered vacuums. Currently, equipment averages roughly one hour on battery power.
