Proper Use Of Green Floor Finishes and Strippers

Green floor care products are growing in popularity, but they can’t simply be interjected into a cleaning operation.

Green floor strippers are best used in a floor care program that includes green floor finishes. Traditional floor finishes have metal interlocks, but green floor finishes use calcium interlocks that can be easily broken by the chemical composition of green strippers.

If using a green stripper to remove metal interlocking floor finishes, it will take more product than normal to break the metal bond. And using more of any product — but especially floor strippers — is not a green solution.
