Along with paper products, soap is a restroom product that needs to be refilled daily, depending on use and traffic.

In restrooms that have counter-top bottles, those can be refilled on a daily basis when the restroom is cleaned – however, studies have suggested that that method allows for bacterial contamination of the soap. Using wall- or counter-mount dispensers, into which refill bags are more hygienically replaced, is an easy and clean way for product to be replenished.

Ideally, the proper dispenser-size match will allow for timely refilling of dispensers before they run out of product, yet without wasting it. Many dispensers have clear plastic windows in the front so users and janitors are able to monitor the refill’s content. When a cartridge is running low, a janitor or day porter can easily switch it out with a full one.
