Selling warewashing equipment that dispenses the proper chemicals to clean dishes and cutlery or laundry is not a one-time sale of the unit and chemicals. Distributors need to back the product up with a comprehensive service plan.

Plans usually consist of equipment calibration, repairs, part replacement, preventative maintenance and user training. They can be handled in-house, or outsourced to trained specialists.

Problems will crop up unexpectedly, so distributors must be on call, ready to react at anytime. If a warewashing dispenser breaks in a restaurant, they will need immediate help to be able to have clean dishes for that’s night service.

Distributors that can provide such exceptional service will build stronger customer partnerships, leading to increased sales. Not only will pleased customers continue to buy their warewashing chemicals from you, but they will probably also purchase additional jan/san products with you as well.
