Salvador Perez is a full-time janitor for Harvard Maintenance, Miami, serving clients in the downtown Chicago area for the past 10 years.
Perez displays a great work ethic, always willing to lend a hand to his co-workers. Even if he is busy with his own tasks, he will make himself available to help out. When a problem arises, Perez is the one to call.
“Salvador is well known for his go-to attitude and always ready to help at a moments notice when disasters happen,” says Edward Quijada, Harvard Maintenance operations manager.
Building supervisors know they can count on Perez to fix the problem. He excels at performing work right the first time, and is quite capable of completing difficult tasks with little or no supervision.
The kind Perez not only shows respect for his co-workers and managers, but he has a fantastic attitude when dealing directly with customers.
“I have gotten a countless number of compliments regarding Salvador’s job performance about the complete customer experience — from the initial interactions’ first impression to the quality of the work he performs,” says Jim Postelnick, vice president, Chicago, for Harvard Maintenance. “Our clients always have positive interactions with him.”
