Bearded man smiles

Nine years ago, Contracting Profits profiled half a dozen young, prominent building service contractors who we felt were going to be the leaders of tomorrow.

This crop of contractors included Janelle Bruland, CEO of MSNW and former president of Building Service Contractors Association International, as well as Jamie Henry of Bee Line Building Services & Supply who is a current board member of the association.

I think we did pretty well with our predictions. This time around, we’d like to hear who you think deserves the recognition.

Contracting Profits will honor one rising star with the Emerging Leader award, as part of the BSCAI CLEAN Awards program. This award will be given to an owner of a contract cleaning company or member of the executive team who is 40 years old or younger, and demonstrates excellence in this industry.

Candidates must work for a company that is a member of BSCAI and will be considered for recognition based on various qualities. We are looking for someone who positively contributes to the cleaning industry or BSCAI. It’s important for this person to have defined career achievements and/or leadership traits, but just as important is an engagement with this industry and respect for the hard work BSCs do every day.

Nominate your “Emerging Leader” by July 31, 2019. Click here for more information and to submit your candidate. We’ll feature the Emerging Leader recipient, along with all CLEAN Award winners, in the November issue.
