People try out cleaning products
CBE attendees can see the latest product innovations in the cleaning industry

Clean Buildings Expo, an all-new, free trade show for the commercial cleaning industry, will deliver education and product information to building service contractors, in-house cleaning managers, executive housekeepers and environmental services managers when it debuts March 26-27, 2019, at the Baltimore Convention Center, in downtown Baltimore.

“There is an unserved need for a commercial cleaning industry event that’s located in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic,” says Jeff Schenk, president and CEO of Trade Press Media Group.

Clean Buildings Expo is a joint venture by two industry leaders: Trade Press Media Group (the parent company of Contracting Profits and Facility Cleaning Decisions magazines) and ISSA. This expo will also be co-located with NFMT Baltimore, Trade Press’ long-standing and successful event for building owners and facility executives from organizations in the government, education, commercial office, healthcare, retail, hospitality and industrial markets.

“By co-locating with NFMT, Clean Buildings Expo will educate building owners and facility executives alike about cleaning innovations and trends,” says Wendy Dietzler, Trade Press Media Group’s vice president of education. “This sharing of knowledge will enhance the relationship between facility executives and their cleaning product and service providers.”

The education conference portion of Clean Buildings Expo includes more than 20 free sessions addressing Cleaning Operations, Trends and Technologies, and Staffing and Management. Some of the many topics covered will include robotics, nanotechnology, employee engagement, infection control demands, sustainability, and cleaning expectations from building owners. Curated by Contracting Profits, Facility Cleaning Decisions and ISSA, the conference agenda will feature subject-matter experts within the cleaning industry, including BSCs, in-house cleaning executives and industry consultants.

Attendees can earn CEUs for every session they participate in at CBE. After the event, all verified attendees will receive an email with a link to assessment questions for every session they were scanned into during the show. After successfully answering four true/false questions, participants will receive a transcript with the CEUs earned.

The expo hall will feature manufacturers and leading suppliers of floor and carpet cleaning equipment, chemicals, restroom supplies and green cleaning products during the event’s two exhibit days.

“At CBE, end users can learn about the latest products and procedures to help improve their businesses and departments,” says Dietzler.

In addition to the vast educational and show floor offerings, attendees will benefit from free admittance into the Networking Party. Here, Clean Buildings Expo attendees can swap stories and challenges with other BSCs and cleaning managers, as well as building owners, facility executives and industry manufacturers.

Entry into the Clean Buildings Expo conference and exhibit hall is free to all attendees. Registration for the event will also include access into the NFMT Baltimore show floor and its 125 educational sessions. At NFMT, BSCs will discover new products and trends for many of their add-on services, including landscaping, snow and ice removal, duct cleaning and more.
