One of the best aspects of attending the Contracting Success Conference is reconnecting with peers not seen since the last event. This conference provides plenty of chances for attendees to mingle and share insight and advice with fellow BSCs.

The Welcome Reception takes place earlier in the week this year, happening on Tuesday, Oct. 30. This is a great way to kickstart the week and interact with contractors over drinks and appetizers.

New association members have a chance to learn the ins and outs of the industry from BSCAI board members during the New Member Booth Party. This event takes place in the exhibit hall of the ISSA Show at BSCAI’s booth, 1731. Refreshment and snacks are provided and if last year is any indication, this is THE place to be as the ISSA trade show winds down on its last day, Nov. 1.

Later that evening, the Networking Reception is the event’s biggest party. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres are served and attendees will also have a chance to speak with manufacturers about the latest product innovations at their tabletops.

If attendees didn’t get a chance to visit with everyone the night before, the last day of the conference begins with a networking breakfast. Also on Friday, there will be another opportunity to view the product tabletops and speak with manufacturer representatives.

In addition to all these larger gatherings, BSCs can attend networking roundtables on Oct. 31 for intimate discussions about current trends.

Applauding Achievement
During the Contracting Success Conference, BSCAI will honor members for outstanding achievements in a variety of categories. The CLEAN Awards breakfast takes place on Nov. 1 and will recognize past president Janelle Bruland with the James E. Purcell Leadership Award, named after the association’s founder and first president.

In addition, awards for distinguished service, cleaning for health, community service, safety, image and more will be handed out. Also, one deserving frontline janitor will be celebrated as Building Service Employee Of The Year.

The Contracting Success Conference is the biggest event designed exclusively for building service contractors. BSCAI members won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn how to improve their businesses and keep up with changing trends.
