WFBSC 2014 offers much more than just top quality speakers and education. While there is no expansive trade show floor stretching for aisles or giant, elaborate booth set-ups, there are “trade-meetings.” Attendees can pre-schedule meetings with any of the show’s sponsors. Suppliers are also available to chat during coffee, lunches and breaks at intimate tabletop settings.
“We’re focusing on one-on-one (meetings) with those who have sponsored,” says Doobin. “WFBSC is about making connections and building a strong network so we can all be better.”
Part of making these connections happens through networking. The Congress will offer plenty of time to converse with colleagues, including during evening receptions and a Gala dinner.
“The connections you make can change your business,” says Doobin. “You can easily be sitting next to and networking with executives from the biggest industry companies in the world.”
A lot of valuable information will be shared at the Congress, but that doesn’t mean contractors shouldn’t plan for a little fun, too. Time has been scheduled into the agenda for attendees to sightsee the famous city. And with the hotel located in the middle of Times Square, there is easy access to plenty of fabulous attractions.
“Yes, the Congress will be great and that’s a focus during the day. But let’s face it, we’re in New York City so the agenda is designed so people can get out and experience great restaurants, theater, museums, etc.,” says Doobin.
With so much industry insight to be learned, connections to be made and fun to enjoy, the WFBSC 2014 is an event BSCs can’t afford to pass up.
