New at ISSA/INTERCLEAN this year is the Green Clean Schools Forum. The two-day event is presented by Healthy Schools Campaign and ISSA, and will be held on October 25 and 26, 2016, at Chicago’s McCormick Place. From making data-driven decisions, to selecting green products and equipment, the forum promises to change how facility cleaning managers clean schools.

Attendees will benefit from 12 hours of workshops and panel discussions, led by members of Healthy Schools Campaign’s Leadership Council, as well as industry and health experts. These sessions will outline practical applications of Healthy Schools Campaign’s 5 Steps to Green Cleaning in Schools. Attendees will also learn from featured speaker Steve Ashkin, executive director of The Green Cleaning Network.

Also built into the two-day event are valuable networking opportunities to exchange ideas and allow the sharing of success stories. Attendees are encouraged to mingle with industry experts, presentation speakers and peers.

Finally, personalized, small-group tours of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN trade show floor are available to forum attendees. The tour will include scheduled visits with exhibitors designed to provide pertinent information on the latest green cleaning products, supplies and equipment that will help increase cleaning effectiveness, while minimizing impact on the environment and human health in schools and universities.
