After hosting in Dallas for the first time last year, the ISSA Show North America returns to Las Vegas for its annual convention and trade show Nov. 18 through Nov. 21. Despite a later start date than previous years, the insight to be gained over four days of seminars, banquets and exhibits doesn’t need to stay in Vegas.

An enormous exhibit hall is the trademark of any ISSA Show, and this year is no different. The expected 16,000-plus attendees representing over 67 countries can peruse over 600 different exhibitors in a jam-packed Las Vegas Convention Center from Nov.19 through Nov. 21. Facility cleaning managers seeking help navigating the show floor can take advantage of guided group tours with the purchase of an all-access pass, starting on the 19th between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Located in Central Hall, the seemingly complex floor plan is simplified through a series of specialty areas and pavilions, designed to group exhibitors together based on attendee interests. For example, first-time exhibitors will be featured as part of the Startup Village. Attendees are encouraged to stop by this very popular area to check out a whole new crop of cleaning products in person.

Outside those new exhibitors, the bulk of the show floor is where managers will find tried-and-true products to keep their departments running smoothly. It’s also where manufacturers will display new products and innovations worth exploring.

As if that weren’t enough, departments that tackle project work might benefit from visiting exhibitors in the specialty pavilions. Specific sections of the show floor will highlight products and companies focusing on restoration, international products and even residential cleaning.

To help navigate the more than 600 booths, check out the ISSA Show App. It allows users to view and edit their show plan on-the-go. One must-stop is the ISSA Sports Bar (booth 2415). Whether taking a breather, grabbing a drink or catching up on game highlights, the casual environment is ideal for networking and learning about must-sees on the show floor.

The show floor is a great spot to reunite with old colleagues or finally meet a connection in person, but there are also several networking opportunities available after hours throughout the week at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The first event will be the IEHA, a division of ISSA, Member Reception, running from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17. Members will have the opportunity to network and reconnect as they discuss successes from the last 12 months.

The following night, on Monday, Nov. 18, ISSA members are encouraged to celebrate at the ISSA Welcome Reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is an opportunity for ISSA members of all divisions to reconvene in a casual, party-like atmosphere.

Wednesday night offers evening roundtable sessions scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Bally’s. The roundtables allow attendees the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and gain insight from different corners of the industry.
