In a recent visit with family, I was discussing the multiple changes we have made at Housekeeping Solutions when my young nephew chimed in with the most insightful comment: “Sometimes change is good. Life changes and we must either live with it, or learn from it.” Even though he simply quoted Disney’s “The Lion King,” I think it’s fitting.
Over the years, I have noticed that the technology in publishing has grown. Embracing this as opportunity, Housekeeping Solutions now offers our readers valuable industry information through a variety of media — one of which is our Web site, CleanLink.com.
For those of you who visit CleanLink, you might have already noticed its obvious facelift. In an effort to satisfy the readers’ every need, CleanLink now has a laundry list of features.
Launched in mid-May, the site now highlights new products on a daily basis, and offers more products than ever before. We will continue featuring daily news, as well as announcements on manufacturers, distributors and reader awards in “People & Company Updates.”
Another new feature is the addition of “Editors’ Picks.” This section will highlight hot topics that should be top-of-mind with readers. The site will also provide easy access to our online “Buyer’s Guide,” which allows users to search specific industry manufacturers with the click of the mouse.
The newest — and possibly most exciting — addition to the site is the introduction of blogs. Focusing on the industries key players (distributors, contractors and in-house service providers), these blogs will become a direct link between editors and readers to discuss various topics facing the industry.
The additions to CleanLink were designed with the reader in mind, so I encourage you to check it out and let us know what you think. After all, your opinion is your most valuable resource.
