CIMS: ISSA Certification Expert (I.C.E.) Workshop Part 1

Monday, Oct. 24, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Learn the characteristics of a quality cleaning organization as defined by the CIMS and CIMS-GB certification process. The workshop provides information on the management elements for a cleaning organization to be effective and efficient as well as aspects of green cleaning.

IICRC Basic Skills Stone & Marble Care Certification Program

Tuesday, Oct. 25, 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Introductory workshop to understand the basics of stone and marble care for attendees to receive IICRC certification. Attendees who complete the workshop receive documentation of achievement.

CITS: Accredited Certification Trainer (A.C.T.) Workshop Part 1

Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1:15 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Speaker: Jim Peduto
Attendees earn a Cleaning Industry Training Accredited Certification Trainer. The workshop gives attendees mastery of the best practices and principles of effective training in the cleaning industry that allows them to differentiate themselves from their competition and raise their staff’s professionalism.

IICRC Basic Skills Water Restoration Certification Program

Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1:15 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Speaker: Jessika James
Attendees will learn the basic concepts of how to deal with small or medium-sized water losses and sewer backflows. They will also learn how to deal with microbial contamination such as mold, viruses and bacteria. The workshop will culminate with attendees receiving an award of completion and have the option of completing an exam toward IICRC documentation.

CMI: Customer Service Certification Course

Wednesday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Speaker: Joel Craddock
In-house service providers and contract cleaners alike glean valuable insights on how communicate with customers. Attendees receive a CMI customer service handbook and a take-home test to earn certification. The course also carries an ISSA Cleaning Industry Training Standard (CITS) designation toward the CITS Master’s program.

This course carries an ISSA Cleaning Industry Training Standard (CITS) designation toward the CITS Master’s program.

This session is for attendees who wish to advance their career. Speakers provide an overview of supervising and management topics including employee engagement, progressive discipline and qualities needed to be a leader. CMI Supervisor handbook provided and course carries an ISSA Cleaning Industry Training Standard (CITS) designation toward the CITS Master's program.
