Plenty of fun and games will also be had at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN 2016, being held in one of the world’s greatest cities. Take time to mingle with some of the other 16,000 cleaning professionals visiting ISSA/INTERCLEAN.

Here are some of the networking opportunities available in 2016:

Poker Tournament

Sit down and enjoy an evening of cards at ISSA's Windy City Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. The poker tournament in the Michigan Room at the Hyatt Regency Chicago starts at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. New players can learn the game during a tutorial before the tournament begins. Prizes will be awarded throughout the event. This networking opportunity allows players to connect with other cleaning professionals while playing poker for a good cause — the ISSA Foundation Scholarship Program, which provides more than 50 scholarships to college-bound students each year.

ISSA LinkedIn Reception

Back by popular demand, the fourth annual ISSA LinkedIn reception is from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 27. The networking event is on the trade show floor and includes free drinks and prize giveaways. Join the ISSA - The Worldwide Cleaning Industry LinkedIn group for an invite.

Soldier Field Facility Tour

Attendees get a chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of Soldier Field, an iconic Chicago stadium, and get a look at how the facility is kept clean. Attendees experience first-hand strategies and techniques during the 90-minute walking tour and get rare views of the top spots in the stadium. The tour is at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28. The tour is included in trade show registration, but attendees must select it as an optional event when they register.

ISSA/INTERCLEAN Bistro

ISSA/INTERCLEAN Bistro is again serving up an assortment of menu options to show attendees. Located at Booth 369, the Bistro gives attendees healthy meal choices over a lunchtime meeting right on the trade show floor. Attendees can reserve tables ahead of time for lunch with colleagues or customers, or they can purchase individual tickets. Entire tables may be reserved all day. Reservations can be made at www.bistrotickets.com/issa. The Bistro is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Oct. 26 to 28.

New Attendee Orientation

Veteran show-goers and ISSA staff are available to answer questions from first-time attendees and those returning after a long absence during the New Attendee Orientation from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Attendees can get recommendations on how to navigate all of the educational sessions, networking opportunities and roundtables available at the show.

ISSA Sports Bar

Attendees can take a much-needed break and do a bit of networking at the ISSA Sports Bar at Booth 2032 on the show floor. Sports fans can have a cold beverage while catching up with the latest sports news and events at the bar.

Lunch And Learn

Speaker Gail Alofsin motivates and inspires during the lunch and learn session "Your Someday is Now! What Are You Waiting For?" from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. In this session, attendees are empowered to integrate their life, career and personal brand.
