This Year It's All About You

I want to welcome you to ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2010 where we have worked diligently to make this week live up to its theme "All About You."

Whether it's the customized seminar content based on questions you've submitted, the new co-location partners who bring added opportunities for you, the more than 650 global leaders showcasing their latest innovations, or the new mobile exhibit directory downloadable from www.issa.com/live, we hope you'll find the return on investment that you specifically have been looking for.

You may have noticed that the ISSA/INTERCLEAN show is quickly becoming the center of a growing circle of events, converging all in one week to make the entire cleaning industry more accessible for you. This year we welcome members of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) as their annual convention co-locates with us for the first time. In addition, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) are hosting educational sessions open to their members and attendees of ISSA/INTERCLEAN. These groups combine with other long-standing partner events to help offer more than 70 educational and networking opportunities this week.

ISSA also has continued to use this week to further its mission of promoting the value cleaning brings in protecting occupant health. You'll find a host of demonstrations and presentations at the Green Connections Center on the show floor, as well as a centrally located Green Product Showcase in the same area. In addition, ISSA is demonstrating the Beta version of its newest online purchaser tool at Booth 1448, geared to help buyers better compare products based on a set of environmental, safety and health attributes most important to their organizations. Never before has the industry had access to this much independently verified data to help make educated buying decisions.

Of course, we also like to provide memorable experiences while you are at ISSA/INTERCLEAN and this year is no exception with the keynote address given by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Nov. 11 at 8:30 a.m. He'll be answering your questions about the world we clean and protect.
