Currently the Assistant Custodial Supervisor for the Salt Lake City School District, Mervin began his career as a school custodian. He has served as a head custodian of an elementary and a high school for 26 years before serving as district level supervisor for 14 years. Mervin has been involved as a supervisor of an internationally recognized Integrated Pest Management program since its inception 14 years ago and holds a current state-certified Pesticide Applicator license. Under his leadership, Salt Lake City School District earned an Honorable Mention for the Green Cleaning Award for Schools & Universities in 2011. Mervin is a past President of the Utah School Custodial Managers Association, which is a coalition of custodial supervisors throughout the state of Utah collaborating and refining healthy cleaning methods in public schools. Mervin is currently a member of the Healthy Green schools & Colleges Steering Committee.
Keith Schneringer has been in the sanitary supply industry since 1990 and is currently the Director of Channel Marketing + Sustainability for WAXIE Sanitary Supply, a San Diego based company which has been The Most Trusted Name in Clean Since 1945 . In his current role, Keith is responsible for developing vertical-market specific programs to better assist customers, for oversight of product management, and for leading the company's sustainability initiatives. Before assuming his current responsibilities, he worked as an account consultant and sales manager for WAXIE.
Dave Prewitt served in both Operations and Sales roles during his fourteen-year tenure at McLemore Building Maintenance. Originally, he oversaw the company's largest branch. Mr. Prewitt then became responsible for the company's sales and sustainability efforts.
During Covid, Dave took on much of McLemore's Covid treatment effort. In 2020, he has treated over 200 buildings in response to Covid Positive exposure. He has been involved in the development of continuous electrostatic treatment programs that are currently in place at McLemore cleaned "essential services" facilities.
Aaron has 20 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry and has worked in education facilities for the past 15 years. In his current role at UC Riverside, he is responsible for leading a department of 140 employees that clean approximately 6 million square feet of academic and housing space daily. He is currently a member of the Healthy Green Schools & Colleges Steering Committee and holds a LEED Green Associate credential. Under his leadership at UC Irvine, his department won two Green Cleaning Awards for Schools and Universities; Best New Program in 2013 and an Honorable Mention in 2015.
