STOKO Skin Care by Evonik will host an educational seminar on skin safety and hygiene in the workplace at the Hampton Roads Industrial and Facility Maintenance (HR-FM) Show, which will be held at the Virginia Beach (Virginia) Convention Center on May 9. Senior Technical Manager Armand Coppotelli will conduct the session, titled “Saving your Skin – The Role Skin Safety & Hygiene Plays.”
The HR-FM seminar is designed to educate plant engineers, plant and facility managers, as well as maintenance technicians in reducing risk, saving time and money, and improving worker health using sustainable products. Coppotelli will present keys to providing a better work environment, with emphasis on how to achieve visible results in skin health.
“Occupational dermatitis costs the manufacturing industries over $1 billion a year,” Coppotelli observes. “Our seminar will teach manufacturing industry professionals how to protect their most valuable assets – their employees’ hands. Saving their skin will help companies reduce health care costs and lost work time significantly, leading to considerable savings on the bottom line.”
Anyone interested in attending the free educational seminar and trade show may register at http://www.va-fm.com/index.html.
