3M’s scholarship program is an annual commitment to supporting outstanding students pursuing a graduate degree in industrial hygiene in the United States. This program recognizes graduate students for their high level of academic achievement, contribution to the profession, and intent to pursue industrial careers in the discipline of Industrial Hygiene.

With this program, 3M OHESD awards each winner a $5,000 scholarship and attendance to the 2012 American Industrial Hygiene conference & exposition (AIHce) in Indianapolis, IN. Scholarship awardees were chosen in accordance with program rules on the basis of academic achievement, related work experience and professional goals. They were chosen by a selection committee comprised of 3M OHESD management and 3M corporate Industrial Hygienists.

“We are continually impressed with the quality of applicants and submissions each year,” said Nicole Vars McCullough, PhD, CIH, and 3M Global Technical Service Manager (and winner of 3M’s 1994 industrial hygiene scholarship award).
