With the Super Bowl this Sunday, the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s released a news graphic that looks at the solar projects installed at NFL stadiums, including the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey where Super Blow XLVIII will be played. During the game, aerial footage will likely show 916 external LED fixtures powered by 1,350 solar photovoltaic panels with a total generating capacity of 276 kilowatts.
