Sparkle Services, Inc. founded in 1985, is celebrating 30 years. Their success has been built on a philosophy of partnership which guides them to work in conjunction with their clients to create effective, efficient outcomes.

In 1985, young entrepreneurs, Jeff Tingley and Kim Tingley, established Sparkle Services with a vacuum and a broom. Jeff and Kim didn’t let their first month’s sales of $40.00 or their pay in food from a pizza restaurant customer deter them. They worked tirelessly at securing new business by trying innovative ideas and continually testing cleaning methods and products.

Today, Sparkle Services, located at 119 Post Road in Enfield, the former home to Sterling Machine, services more than 60 regular customers with over 100 buildings. The company is 25 employees strong, with state-of-the-art equipment.

“Customer satisfaction is what we pride ourselves on. All customers deserve a positive experience. Keeping our standards high and understanding that each business is unique is the core of our business model,” states Jeff Tingley.

Community support has always been important to the Tingley’s. Asnuntuck Foundation, Allied Community Services, Cystic Fibrosis, Johnson Memorial Hospital and Cans for Kids are a sampling of non-profits who have benefited from their generosity.

To celebrate this milestone, Sparkle Services will host an open house in mid-March.
