Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) recently announced the installation of its newly elected officers and directors.
BSCAI is proud to announce that the 2015 President is Paul Greenland, CBSE, President of Aetna Integrated Services. Most recently, Greenland served as a co-chair for the 2014 BSCAI Annual Convention. He has been active in the industry since the age of 14, initially washing the company trucks and making sure the warehouse was clean. After earning his B.S. in business management from Indiana University, he worked for another janitorial company out of state to learn the ropes. Greenland has served as Aetna’s Branch Manager, Director of Business Development, Vice President of Operations, and now President.
BSCAI’s 2015 President-Elect is Janelle Bruland, CBSE. Bruland is President and CEO of Management Services Northwest, Inc. When Janelle Bruland purchased Management Services Northwest in 1995, it was a small janitorial company with 10 employees. MSNW has since grown into a regional facility management company offering services from janitorial to complete facility management. Bruland’s responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the business, with a focus on strategic planning and business development.
Serving as BSCAI’s 2015 Vice President is Tom Kruse, CBSE, Senior Vice President of M&A of Marsden Holding, LLC. Tom joined Marsden Holding in 2008 as the President and Chief Operating Officer of their Western Division. Marsden Holding is one of the largest privately owned security and facility service providers in the U.S. with an outstanding local reputation in the markets they serve. Kruse is responsible for developing and executing the acquisition portion of Marsden's national growth strategy.
Serving as 2015 Treasurer, Jim Harris, Jr., CBSE, CEO of Janitronics, Inc. Harris has been around the industry his whole life and started full time with Janitronics Facility Services in 1984. As CEO, Harris is responsible for leading an executive team in all aspects of the business. His prime responsibilities include corporate planning, major account retention and vendor relationships.
Serving as BSCAI’s Immediate Past President in 2015 is Yasser Youssef. Youssef is the President of The Budd Group, a North Carolina facilities management company where he is responsible for all operational branches and corporate shared service functions of the company. Youssef previously served as Chief Operating Officer since 2004. The Budd Group has been a member of BSCAI since 1974.
