Dade Paper has selected the Breakthrough Collaborative to award the 2015 Genet Family and Dade Paper Scholarships. Breakthrough is an eight-year, tuition-free academic enrichment program that provides motivated middle-school students from underserved communities with the tools they need to achieve their most ambitious goals in life. Breakthrough also offers students-teaching-students internships that engage outstanding older students as teachers, mentors and role models.
 
This year’s scholarship recipients include graduates from Breakthrough Miami, Breakthrough New York City and Breakthrough Atlanta.
 
The Genet Family and Dade Paper Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Dade Paper’s late chairman and founder, Irving Genet.
