Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division announced the winners of 14 educational scholarships for the 42nd annual Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) conference. The scholarships, worth $1,000 each, will help cover costs to attend the June 27-29 event in Nashville, Tenn., which offers educational sessions, speakers, workshops, exhibitors and networking opportunities for more than 2,600 clinical professionals from around the world.

“The opportunities offered at the APIC conference allow professionals to learn about the latest technologies and discover solutions to infection prevention issues alongside colleagues and prevention experts,” said Carolyn Cooke, Vice President Healthcare North America, Diversey Care. “We are delighted to provide the deserving winners with scholarships to assist with conference expenses. The knowledge they’ll obtain through this event is invaluable.”

The winners of this year’s scholarships are professionals active in infection prevention roles. Through online submissions, applicants outlined notable projects that positively impacted patient safety practices and heightened staff involvement and satisfaction through cleaning and disinfection processes.
