A Manager of Distinction is dedicated, hardworking, honest and a passionate leader. Many times, they start work during early morning hours, encourage better processes and leave long after the last building occupant.

These in-house custodial executives are the lifeblood of any organization. They are champions that lead the department and drive the team to keep the facility looking and running up to 21st century standards.

These are the types of managers that read Facility Cleaning Decisions magazine and it is an honor to recognize them for their achievements.

2015 marks the second year in which Facility Cleaning Decisions magazine gave special recognition to in-house custodial executives whose passion, talent and expertise make the greatest contributions to the profession. After roughly 100 nominations, five Managers of Distinction winners were announced. Those stand-out professionals include:
• Keith Webb, Executive Director of Plant Services at Newport News Public Schools, Newport News, Virginia
• Marita Nash, Director of Environmental Services and Linen at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, New Jersey
• William Dillon, Custodial Coordinator at Upper Merion Area School District, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
• Babette Beene, Environmental Services Manager at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas
• David Schlaegel, Manager of Custodial Services at University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky

Each of these award winners will be featured in the September issue of Facility Cleaning Decisions magazine, as well as on CleanLink.com.
