Spectra254, a provider of UVC light disinfection solutions, has hired three healthcare industry professionals to expand its sales management and product management team to support the continued growth of Spectra254 in North America.

Sheila Chalfie joins Spectra254 as the product manager for its entire line of UVC decontamination solutions. Chalfie has more than 20 years of previous experience in healthcare device sales and marketing, most recently working as a diagnostics account executive for Becton Dickinson Diagnostics, a provider of diagnostic products and instruments. While at Becton Dickinson Diagnostics, she managed several large integrated healthcare delivery networks and was consistently recognized as a top performer.

“Sheila’s previous success and background in the sale and marketing of disease-related medical devices makes her ideal for the new product manager position with Spectra254,” said Dennis Boyle, Spectra254’s Executive Vice President of Global Sales.

Jack O’Connor brings nearly 31 years of experience in the medical, pharmaceutical and medical device industries to his position as northeastern regional sales manager for Spectra254. He will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for Spectra254 for a region that includes 14 states and the District of Columbia. O’Connor was previously employed as the business development and account manager for VWR International, a global provider of products for laboratory and production facilities. During his tenure with VWR, he developed and led an effort to cultivate a new $5 million sector of business for the company and also received its Healthcare Specialist of the Year Award in 2011.

Charles Overbeck, who also joins Spectra254 as regional sales manager, has more than two decades of sales experience in the healthcare industry and most recently was a regional sales director for VWR International, leading a team of nine sales representatives and receiving the Regional Sales Director of the Year award in 2014. As the southwestern regional sales manager for Spectra254, Overbeck is responsible for all sales and marketing activities for a five state region that includes California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

“With Jack and Charles, Spectra254 gains a pair of healthcare device veterans with proven success and experience in maintaining positive relationships with customers and exceeding expectations,” added Boyle.
