The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), a non-profit organization providing education and resources to individuals who manage professional cleaning operations, today unveiled its new website www.ieha.org. This is the latest initiative in an aggressive plan to grow the Association’s digital presence and the online capabilities available to its members.
“To continue expanding our reach and the services we offer our membership, IEHA needs a strong digital presence,” said IEHA President Michael Patterson, REH. “Last year, we moved our certification program online so participants could access our educational program from anywhere in the world. We’ve also invested in our social media program to connect with our members and prospects. The new website is just another step forward in our effort to make sure IEHA’s quality content and resources and materials are available to our members when they need it.”
The new website includes new features for visitors and members, including improved navigation, reporting, membership renewal and document sharing. In early February, IEHA will also unveil a new transformed online resource center, available exclusively to its members. The portal will feature new and previously published articles from the Association’s publication, EHT. These features will include profiles of cleaning professionals, insights on management and human resources, new trends and processes in the industry along with news and information from IEHA Chapters.
The resource center will also feature daily industry news and product information from suppliers, members and more time-sensitive news and updates related to the industry. All of this information will be presented in a readable, visually friendly and easily searchable database. It will also provide links for members to engage with the content by commenting and sharing on their own social media channels.
“In the past, members would need to keep a hard copy archive of past EHT articles,” added Patterson. “This new resource will make this great content available anywhere at any time. Our goal is to create a resource for members to find the information they need to perform their jobs when they need it.”
