The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) announced the addition of Richard Greene as the Institute’s new president. Greene will take on the roll from current IICRC Chairman Pete Duncanson who was serving as interim president throughout the executive search. Greene will work closely with the IICRC Board of Directors to drive the Institute forward and create greater value for IICRC stakeholders.

“I am honored to have been chosen to lead the Institute,” said Richard Greene, IICRC President. “The IICRC is a solid organization with the ability to lift the industry into the future, ultimately providing consumers with the best possible services. I am very much looking forward to our success together.”

Greene has over 20 years of executive management experience leading local, state and national trade associations, primarily focusing his efforts to support small businesses. Prior to joining the IICRC, Greene served as the CEO of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). His leadership positions include managing several local chambers of commerce, a state-wide construction related trade association, urban redevelopment agencies and a national trade association.

“Richard is an extremely qualified association leader, and we are lucky to add him to the IICRC team,” said IICRC Chairman Pete Duncanson. “We believe Richard possesses the skills and experience necessary to enhance our offering to stakeholders while growing our registrant and Certified Firm base.”

Greene earned a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives, recognizing his proficiency, professionalism and expertise in nonprofit/association management. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), Greene earned his MBA from Utah State University. Green will be based at the IICRC’s Global Resource Center in Las Vegas.
