Thomas Dietrich, National Guild Master of the National Guild Association of the Building Cleaning Trade (BIV), is the chair and president of the world federation. The sitting president, Takao Ichinohe from Japan, handed over the helm at the International Forum Tokyo, where the 21st WFBSC congress is taking place.
For the first time the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) will be gathering cleaning industry decision-makers from around the world for a meeting in Berlin. From September 18-20, 2017, the World Federation of Building Service Contractors will be holding its congress parallel with the international cleaning trade fair CMS Berlin 2017 – Cleaning.Management.Services in the German capital. The headline topic of the industry’s leading international conference is ’Cleaning in the digital world – processes, people technology’.
Thomas Dietrich, National Guild Master of the Building Cleaning Trade: “Globalization and digitalization will become increasingly important in our sector, particularly where new processes and the organization of our services are concerned. For us as hosts of the world congress the focus is on networking and exchanging views and how, with the help of outstanding exhibitors at CMS, we as a service industry can meet future challenges.“
Dr. Christian Göke, CEO, Messe Berlin GmbH:
“The 22nd WFBSC congress in 2017 will provide a decisive boost for CMS Berlin. This leading international event will gather additional numbers of outstanding decision-makers from around the world at the Berlin cleaning trade fair. It is another successful step in the direction of our goal, which is to attract even greater international participation in CMS Berlin.“
CMS Berlin, Europe's leading event for this sector, will be taking place from 19 to 22 September 2017. At CMS 2015, on an indoor and outdoor display area covering 24,500 square metres, 377 exhibitors from 22 countries provided a comprehensive overview of their products, systems and work methods which represented the market's entire range of cleaning systems and cleaning agents. These included more than 70 exhibits making their first appearance at a trade fair or on the European or world stage.
