ServiceMonster, the industry leader for field service software, announced that Sam Robinson recently earned his Performance Assessment Certification from theInternational Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA). As Sales Manager at ServiceMonster, Sam oversees sales and onboarding for new customers.
“It’s pretty rare to see a software company so invested in learning the trade of their customers. It’s one of the things that really differentiates ServiceMonster from other software companies,” Sam noted. “It was excellent to get some hands-on experience with the things I discuss with our customers on a daily basis.”
ServiceMonster has a history of direct involvement in the industry, and is already making plans to send more employees to future trainings.
“We are proud of Sam’s passion for learning, and we have no doubt that the hands-on nature of this certification will compliment his existing industry knowledge,” said Joe Kowalski, ServiceMonster co-founder and CEO. “Our customers will benefit from the experience he’s gained earning this certification.”
The Performance Assessment Certification is offered through ICRA – a grouping of like-minded trade associations within the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industry. The Performance Assessments, according to the ICRA website, are “designed to allow a candidate for certification to demonstrate at what level they can perform specific skills. They are different than Cognitive testing in that there are no written exams. Instead, workstations are set up at assessment centers allowing the candidate(s) to demonstrate their ability to perform specific tasks associated with their job classification.” It is a newly-developed certification.
At present, Sam is one of only 15 people in the world to be certified in ICRA’s Performance Assessment.
