Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division announced that four of its innovations have been nominated for ISSA 2016 Innovation Awards. The nominated innovations, and many others, will be showcased at Diversey Care booth 1201 and ISSA booth 4606 during the ISSA/INTERCLEAN show, Oct. 26-28 in Chicago. The awards are divided into five categories and winners will be announced during the show.
“At Diversey Care, we’re committed to developing innovations that protect, enhance and transform the lives of people around the world,” said Dr. Ilham Kadri, president, Diversey Care. “From robotic machines to a hybrid dispenser to a dynamic Internet of Things-powered platform, we’re changing the way that tasks are completed in order to reduce costs and waste, and improve safety, productivity and cleaning results.”
Diversey Care’s nominations include:
• IntelliCare (Dispensers) – The industry’s first hybrid automatic hand care dispenser features both touchless and manual activation and provides low content and battery alerts to ensure dispensers are always functioning properly. It also features tamper-proof, collapsible bottles designed to prevent product contamination and empty completely to reduce waste.
• TASKI Intellibot AEROBOT 1850 (Equipment) – This hands-free vacuum pulls up deeply embedded debris on carpeted surfaces, enhancing the look and life of carpets in retail stores, airports, office spaces and convention and hospitality centers. The vacuum operates through a touchscreen interface, working multiple shifts uninterrupted and at a low decibel. It reports to an operator whenever tanks, filters or batteries need servicing to avoid downtime.
• Internet of Clean platform (Technology) – This platform connects machines, dispensers, sensors, beacons and other smart devices to allow businesses to remotely monitor operations. The IoC platform features a customizable and intuitive dashboard where users can review data and trends, resulting in improved qualitative standards and lower costs of cleaning and hygiene programs.
• CleanPatch (Supplies & Accessories) – This medical surface repair technology is registered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and restores damaged hospital mattresses and stretchers to an intact and hygienic state to better protect patients and staff.
