EnvirOx is pleased to announce it has joined the Green Sports Alliance’s Corporate Members Network. The Green Sports Alliance is the central hub of a burgeoning movement to make sports more sustainable. Since launching nationally in March 2011 with six professional teams and five venues as founding members, the Green Sports Alliance has grown to nearly 400 sports teams and venues from 15 different sports leagues, including the MLB, NHL, NBA and NASCAR.
Green Sports Alliance Members have made a commitment to improve their environmental performance. With the support of the Alliance and its partners, members are reducing waste, conserving energy and water, and eliminating toxic chemicals, among many other ongoing initiatives and accomplishments. They are integrating sustainability into their core operations, engaging fans and leading the way to a greener future.
As part of the new partnership, EnvirOx will be supporting the Green Sports Alliance in its mission of driving green practices throughout sports arenas, teams and organizations. EnvirOx has over 2 decades of experience as the leading manufacturer of environmentally-preferred cleaning chemicals. In this time, EnvirOx has provided thousands of schools, universities, arenas and stadiums with a healthier, more sustainable way to clean.
“EnvirOx's mission is to improve the health of millions across our country by eliminating toxic chemicals from workplaces, schools and public areas. Our product development philosophy is simple – we make the safest cleaning products that actually work. We don't think you should have to choose between environmental sustainability and effective, efficient cleaning. We know you can have both.” says Diana Stewart, President of EnvirOx. “We’re excited about the opportunity to bring our mission to the sports industry.”
EnvirOx is also sponsoring the Green Sports Alliance’s 7th Annual Summit in Sacramento, June 27-29 at the Golden 1 Center. This event brings together sports and sustainability industry leaders to engage in advancing the greening of the sports industry. The theme for the 2017 Summit is “PLAY GREENER: Engaging Fans, Athletes and Communities,” focused on mobilizing members and partners to bring about positive environmental and social impact across their fan-base and surrounding communities.
