Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division showcased its food safety and quality management solutions at the (GFSI) Global Food Safety Conference in Houston, Texas, February 27 – March 2. The four-day conference brought together over 1,100 food safety professionals from more than 60 countries to exchange, discuss and explore best food safety knowledge and practices.
Diversey Care highlighted technologies within its Internet of Clean platform, which connects devices and machines to monitor food safety and hygiene within the supply chain. At the same booth, Diversey Consulting’s experts were available to discuss how to enhance food safety, quality and efficiency and Sealed Air’s Food Care division will showcase an array of packaging and hygiene solutions.

Diversey Care will highlight Internet of Clean connected innovations at the show, including:
• IntelliConsult: a suite of integrated digital solutions to manage food safety risks, drive consistency in food operations, ensure regulatory compliance, improve operational efficiency and strengthen food safety culture.
• IntelliCare: a complete hand care solution designed to prevent infection, improve productivity and protect brand reputation. IntelliCare’s soap and sanitizer dispensers provide facility managers with data about usage to better control risk and educate staff about hand hygiene.
• Augmented Reality: a smart, user-friendly application for mobile phones and tablets that uses virtual reality to provide customers onsite training, troubleshooting and information to guide their tasks.
Diversey Care also sponsored and moderated a session on Wednesday, March 1 from 8:30-9:15 a.m., titled “Food Safety 2.0: Is the Industry Ready for the Challenges Ahead?” The session will focus on how technology supports food safety management and risk reduction across the supply chain. Jean-Jacques Vandenheede, Senior Retail Industry Analyst for ACNielsen Europe, and Bob Gravani Ph.D., Emeritus Professor of Food Science and Director Emeritus of the National Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) Program at Cornell University, will discuss today’s top food safety and market trends, and conduct a Q&A with the audience.
