Dade Paper has selected the Breakthrough Collaborative to award the 2017 Genet Family and Dade Paper Scholarships. Breakthrough is a multi-year academic enrichment program providing highly-motivated students with programs to help them reach their full potential. Students from Breakthrough locations in Miami, New York and Atlanta will receive college scholarships for the 2017/2018 academic year.

On April 23rd, Breakthrough Miami presented 10 outstanding students with Dade Paper scholarships. Each student completed the 8-year program, displayed leadership skills and scholastic excellence. The Atlanta and New York recipients will be announced in the coming months.

The Genet Family and Dade Paper Scholarship Fund was created in 2014 in memory of Irving Genet, late Chairman and Founder of Dade Paper. The Fund was part of the company’s 75th anniversary programming.
