Deb Group, an SC Johnson company, announced that it has donated more than $200,000 worth of skin care product to the American Red Cross. The skin care products will be used to provide disaster relief to consumers, workers and first responders affected by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area.
“It’s heartbreaking to see the devastation in Houston, and it can be easy to forget about the basic health and hygiene items that Harvey victims and first-responders may be lacking,” said Isabelle Faivre, Vice President of Marketing, Deb USA. “We hope that the everyday skin care necessities we provided will help stop the spread of life-threatening diseases.”
The products donated by Deb Group include: heavy-duty hand cleansing wipes, alcohol sanitizer, hand and body lotion, heavy-duty hand cleaner and skin care creams.
Additionally, for every soap dispenser design submitted by K-12 students during its 2017 - 2018 Happy Hands Contest, Deb Group will donate $2 to the Houston School District.
