Today, the 2018 National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) and Smart Building Innovations (SBIC) Conference kicked off three days of education, networking and displays of new products in Baltimore, Maryland.

This year’s event includes 90 educational sessions, plus, this year, another 30 SBIC seminars. Key sessions include:

• Essential Steps for Building a Strong Environmental, Health & Safety Program at Your Facility

• Innovative Products to Boost Your Green Cleaning Program

• Clearing the Sustainability-Wellness Hurdle: An Action Plan for FMs

• The Art and Science of Achieving Waste Diversion Through Behavior Change

Attendees also will get access to both the NFMT and SBIC expos, which are co-located in the conference center. More than 500 exhibitors will be showcasing their products in the expo hall made up of six different pavilions.

NFMT is a free conference launched in 2001 by the parent company of Facility Cleaning Decisions, Sanitary Maintenance and Contracting Profits magazines.  It offers education for facilities professionals from a range of organization types, including government, education, commercial office healthcare, retail, hospitality and industrial.

Next year NFMT will co-locate with the Clean Buildings Expo, a new trade show for end users in the commercial cleaning industry, put on by Trade Press Media Group and ISSA.
