The ISSA Hygieia Network (IHN), a non-profit international community dedicated to the advancement and retention of cleaning industry women, announced the appointment of Kim Price to the ISSA Hygieia Network Council.
With over 12 years of experience in the cleaning industry, Kim Price is currently the Vice President of the Sales Force & Distributor Effectiveness Team in Georgia-Pacific Professional, a major manufacturer of hygienic dispensing systems and disposable products globally.
On the IHN Council, Kim Price will work alongside other leading executives within the cleaning industry, promoting ongoing education, networking and professional development to any women working in, or associated with the industry.
“It’s exciting to join the IHN Council and get involved in this empowering and supportive network for women in the cleaning industry,” said Kim Price. “Apart from learning more about the existing programs offered by the IHN, I hope I can bring in ideas to the council and work together to enhance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”
The ISSA Hygieia Network recently started accepting applications for its new mentoring program for IHN members in North America. The program aims to develop strong leadership and support members in advancing their professional skills and expanding their learning circles.
“We are delighted to welcome Kim Price to the IHN Council, and we look forward to having her playing a key role in our organization, championing the interests of the women of the professional cleaning industry,” said Dr. Ilham Kadri, Chairman of ISSA Hygieia Network. “Kim’s experience at all levels in Georgia-Pacific Professional is very inspiring, and it can certainly help us relate to our members to achieve women’s advancement at work.”
