Safety Inspection at commercial warehouse

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is offering a webinar as part of a new effort – the “Safe + Sound Campaign: Spring Into Action with a Safety and Health Program.” The training will provide the resources companies need to make a clean sweep of hazards that can cause injuries and illnesses to workers and building occupants.

The free course, “Three Core Elements of Effective Safety and Health Programs,” is scheduled for April 25 and includes ideas about showing management leadership, encouraging worker participation and finding and fixing hazards in the workplace.

This 90-minute webinar will begin at 2 p.m. Eastern time and will focus on the three core elements of effective safety and health programs (management leadership, worker participation, and a systematic approach to find and fix hazards), why they are important, and how employers can take a step in the right direction to improve safety in the workplace.
