Group Of Happy Cleaners Standing With Cleaning Equipments In Office

SurveyMonkey recently announced plans to guarantee contract workers and employees who work with the company through third-party commercial services better health benefits and improved time-off policies, according to an article on the Citizen Tribune website.

“Our extended workforce makes an impact on our company every day. From the incredible chefs in our kitchen, to the janitorial staff who keep our office beautiful . . . our vendors play a vital role in SurveyMonkey’s success,” Becky Cantieri, SurveyMonkey's Chief People Officer, said in the article.

SurveyMonkey’s framework of benefits for vendor partners align to what the company’s employees have.

The company is working with Bay Area companies including Clean & Green and Eastridge Workforce Solutions who provide janitorial services and workforce management resources to implement these standards by later this year.

SurveyMonkey's initiative will help Clean & Green take better care of its employees, according to Rocio Vargas, company founder and CEO.

"It makes a real difference in their lives.” Vargas said in the article.

The new vendor standards include:

• Medical plan that meets the Gold level per the Healthcare Reform guidelines (80% of claim costs paid by insurance carrier) and dental and vision benefits at least meeting average national benchmarks

• 80 hours of vacation leave per year, 40 hours of paid sick leave per year, seven paid company holidays per year, 12 weeks paid parental leave per year and 12 weeks of paid medical leave per year
