Dominic Bratta Joins ManageMen’s Consulting Team

ManageMen, a business management consulting firm for the professional cleaning industry,  announced the addition of industry veteran Dominic Bratta to its team of experienced training and workloading consultants. In this role, Bratta will help organizations develop and improve the processes by which their buildings are cleaned and maintained.

Spending his entire career with the United States Postal Service (USPS), Bratta most recently worked as the Manager of Maintenance Planning and Support at the USPS headquarters, overseeing cleaning and maintenance in all of its facilities nationwide. Starting in 2009, Bratta played a key role in the development and implementation of new engineered, scientific cleaning process (ESCP) for USPS based on team cleaning principles. He also successfully negotiating several agreements with the American Postal Workers Union, which allowed for the program’s implementation.

“Dominic possesses a unique skillset and knowledge base that will provide invaluable resource to the organizations we serve,” said John Walker, President, ManageMen. “He not only understands the science behind cleaning, but he’s a skilled arbitrator and knows what it takes to implement change in organizations of all sizes. We’re thrilled to have him join our team.”

In addition to his work modernizing the USPS’s cleaning program, Bratta also helped lead the development of web-based software used to workload each USPS location. The new program has enhanced the overall professionalism of custodians and led to cleaner, safer postal facilities. He looks forward to bringing the knowledge gained through those experiences to the other organizations.

“ManageMen is a great fit because it will allow me to use my leadership and subject matter expertise to benefit other organizations outside of the postal service,” said Bratta. “I always say, if you can do it at the USPS, you can do it anywhere.”

An experienced trainer and lecturer, Bratta earned his Bachelor of Science at the State University of New York and his EMBA and Graduate Management Certificate from Hofstra University. He holds both a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt.

When he’s not working, you can find Bratta with his wife of 40 years, Mary Ann, enjoying outdoor activities, such as trapshooting, hiking and camping. The two have one married daughter, Nicole Ingrassellino. Both Nicole and Gaetano (her husband) are also skilled marksman and compete in World Championship of Trapshooting along with Dominic.
