TruShot Wins Silver Level In The 2018 Edison Awards

TruShot, from SC Johnson Professional, has been named a Silver level winner in the Consumer Goods – Workplace Solutions category in the 2018 Edison Awards. TruShot is a mobile dispensing system utilizing a concentrated chemistry cartridge that provides properly diluted chemistries at the pull of the trigger. The cleaner is able to quickly swap chemistry cartridges based on the cleaning need at hand. The trigger sprayer fills at any water source, increasing productivity by reducing re-supply trips to the janitor’s closet. The system simplifies dilution dispensing, replacing wall-mounted or other concentrate dispensing systems.

Established in 1987 and often described as “the Oscars of Innovation,” the Edison Awards, named after Thomas Alva Edison, recognize and honor the world's best innovations and innovators.

All nominations were reviewed by the Edison Awards Steering Committee and the final ballot sent to an independent judging panel. The judging panel was comprised of more than 3,000 professionals from the fields of product development, design, engineering, science, marketing and education, including professional organizations representing a wide variety of industries and disciplines.

The Edison Awards announced gold, silver and bronze award winners at the 31st Annual Edison Awards held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in New York City.
