Kaivac, developer of the No-Touch Cleaning and OmniFlex Cleaning Systems, has just been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Cincinnati Enquirer.

The list of award winners are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey service, Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture and worker satisfaction.

“The winners of “Top Workplaces” receive much more than just company recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage.

“Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

According to Kaivac Communications Manager, Matt Morrison, the company has always focused on ways to keep their staff happy and productive.

“We have allowed our staff to customize their work schedules when necessary; educated them on the value of the professional cleaning industry so that they better understand our goals and what we are trying to accomplish, and make sure they maintain a healthy work-life balance.”

Claffey adds that steps like this do increase employee satisfaction and happiness. “Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy. It’s an achievement organization’s must work for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. In other words, it’s a big deal.”
