BSCAI Recognizes BRAVO! With Award

BRAVO! Group Services’ Karen Martinez (President & CEO) and Frank Wardzinski (COO) proudly acknowledge their receipt of the 2018 BSCAI Safety Award and the recognition of BRAVO!’s ongoing commitment to effective implementation of safety initiatives that will protect customers and employees in the workplace.

BRAVO! Group Services, one of the largest, privately-held facility solutions companies in the country, has been awarded the 2018 Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) Safety Award (Category D-large employer).  This recognition marks the unprecedented seventh time BRAVO! has won this prestigious award since 2009.

“Winning this award affirms our ongoing commitment to safety for our valued employees and customers,” stated Karen Martinez, BRAVO! President & CEO.  “We are gratified by the BSCAI’s acknowledgement of BRAVO! as an industry leader in striving for an injury-free work environment, especially as we experience extensive growth of our client base and broaden our investment in our safety & training programs. A large part of our success in achieving our safety objectives is due to the leadership of Kathy Trivino, BRAVO!’s Director of Safety & Training, who works every day with our front-line Supervisors, Regional Managers, Site Managers, and Directors to reinforce our commitment,” she continued.

To build a strong foundation for its safety-first initiative, BRAVO! reinvested in its safety & training programs several years ago.  "In 2007, we made a commitment to improving workplace safety and striving towards zero accidents,” stated Frank Wardzinski, BRAVO! Chief Operating Officer.  “We then went on to earn the BSCAI Safety Award seven times to-date.  This accomplishment speaks volumes about the conscientiousness and effectiveness of our initiative.  It is also continuously represented by our employees who are recognized in our Safety Stars Award program, which distinguishes colleagues who exemplify the BRAVO! safety credo,” he added.
