The U.S. Department of Labor is reminding employers that they are obligated to post a copy of OSHA's (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Form 300A, which summarizes job-related injuries and illnesses logged during 2018. This information is important for employers, workers and OSHA in evaluating the safety of a workplace, understanding industry hazards, and implementing worker protections to reduce and eliminate hazards.

Each year, from February 1 to April 30, the summary must be displayed in a common area where notices to employees are usually posted.

However, there are two classes of employers that are partially exempt from posting injury and illness records. Businesses with 10 or fewer employees at all times during the 2018 calendar year are excused. Also, those in certain low-hazard industries are partially exempt.
