Gold winners trophy with golden shiny stars

The organizers of the Verona international PULIRE 2019 event and AfidampFAB, the Italian trade association for cleaning industry manufacturers and environmental hygiene, have jointly established the “Product of the Year PULIRE 2019” award to draw attention to and reward the development of innovative solutions, ideas, and designs in the industry.

The first edition of the “Product of the Year PULIRE 2019” will be celebrated during Pulire 2019 in Verona from May 21 to 23, 2019.

Participation in the “Product of the Year PULIRE 2019” is reserved exclusively to companies participating in the Pulire 2019 event as exhibitors and co-exhibitors: Italian and international companies that manufacture machinery, accessories, mechanical, electrical and electronic devices, equipment, chemical products, paper, textiles, cleaning cloths, systems and services for professional cleaning.

The values of quality, reliability, environmental protection, efficiency, ergonomics, and economy will distinguish the product that ultimately wins the prize.

The market plays an essential role, acting as a measure of the effectiveness of the products in the competition. Products introduced onto the market between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018 at the latest are eligible to compete.

“After 10 editions of the Pulire Innovation Award, we wanted to change the concept, but not the objective,” says Toni D’Andrea, managing director of Afidamp Servizi. “The organization has always held a keen interest in stimulating, incentivizing and promoting the study and commitment of the companies in research and performance. This year, the market will also have a say. Today, looking solely at the innovation of a product is limiting, unless viewed through the lens of how it is used and how popular it is.”

Products that have already been submitted to award competitions held in previous trade show events are still eligible to be entered into the “Product of the Year PULIRE 2019” competition.

The jury will be comprised of highly regarded experts in the industry and international institutions. The winner will be awarded in Verona, on the afternoon of the first day of PULIRE 2019.
