Bill Hemann, HOSPECO’s vice president of sales and marketing, is the recipient of ISSA’s Manufacturer Representatives’ Distinguished Service Award for 2019. Hemann was recognized during the recent ISSA Show North America 2019 in Las Vegas.

The Manufacturer Representatives’ Distinguished Service Award recognizes a person within the industry who has had a positive impact on the industry and the association, and who has been supportive of manufacturer representatives. The award is presented on behalf of all independent manufacturer representatives.

With 44 years of service at HOSPECO, Hemann has earned a reputation as a visionary leader who inspires with his hard work and integrity. He began his tenure in finance, then transitioned to sales and marketing. Under his leadership, the company has introduced numerous new products and pioneered product categories.

“Each person and organization with which Bill has worked benefits from his expertise and commitment to the cleaning and protection products industry,” says Tom Friedl, HOSPECO president and CEO. “We’re proud to know the industry recognizes what we’ve known for so long—Bill is a one-of-a-kind leader.”

In addition to Hemann’s award, the Jack D. Ramaley Industry Distinguished Service Award was presented to Jay R. Vonachen, founder of Vonachen Group.
